Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation advisers speaking before Members of Parliament

We start with questions from Conservative MP the committee chair, that leads the group.

She commences by giving details to the leaked document prepared by Michael Prescott and released in the Telegraph.

"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation tilting this way or that way, I just want it straight, fair and fair," he says.

In response to a query if he believes the BBC is institutionally biased, the adviser answers: "No I don't. It is important to note, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation creates is world class - including factual and fictional content."

Nevertheless, he states: "There is significant effort that requires attention at the BBC."

Another previous consultant BBC consultant examined by the committee, Caroline Daniel, states she views the British Broadcasting Corporation with great importance and that it operates a "persistent practice and lively discussion" on dynamic and complex issues.

"Was the BBC willing to conduct a proper discussion and debate and act accordingly?" she asks herself. "In my view, affirmative, they were."
