The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and dark forces growing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the first table of heroes who will split off from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each member has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks revenge.
  • Kattigan is familiar with Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This results in them little choice but to travel to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Explorers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
